Nice to Meet You!

We are Jake and Megan Reis, co-founders of Wisconsin Shredding. Jake and his family owned and operated Fox Cities Records Services in Appleton from 1990 until it was sold in 2014. We specialized in document storage, vault storage, paper shredding, and hard drive shredding. Since that time, Jake has held various positions in sales and operations at a few various local companies. Megan has spent her time raising our beautiful kids along with working in customer service roles. Call us today to learn more about us.

What Did We Start a New Shredding Business?

Since Fox Cities Records Services was sold back in 2014, most of the large national shredding companies purchased the local businesses that were based in the Fox Valley. Jake has received many calls from previous customers over the years, stating that the large companies do not provide very good customer service.

Other complaints we heard were long wait times to get service, long ongoing contracts that are hard to get out of, and no local person to talk to. This was our cue to get back into the shredding industry.

At Wisconsin Shredding, it is not our goal to be the biggest, just the best. When you call, you will be talking to one of us. Not a call center. You will also see Megan and Jake out and about on sales calls, driving the shredding trucks, delivering shred bins to customers, and at local networking events.

About Us

We live in-between Greenville and Hortonville with our 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a cat. When we aren’t out shredding paper, we enjoy road trips to fun places with the kids, spending time outside in the yard, working on home remodeling projects, preparing home-cooked meals, and swimming. We attend Appleton Alliance Church and are very involved in their kids ministry. We look forward to meeting you soon (and shredding some of your paper)!
